unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. Remove the battery: 1. Slide the battery/service cover release latch (1) to release the battery. 2. SIM (select models only) NOTE: The SIM is provided by the end-user as a security measure for the WWAN module. The SIM should be removed, placed into a static-dissipative container, and then replaced when the computer is reassembled. Before removing the SIM, follow these steps: 1.
