the battery pack To insert a primary battery pack: 1. Turn the computer upside down on a flat surface, with the battery bay toward you. 2. Slide the battery pack 1 into the battery bay until it is seated. When the computer receives AC power, the battery pack begins to charge and the battery light (on the front of the computer) is turned on.
