Hinge Cover Panel The hinge cover panel is located above the stand. You must remove it to remove the drive access panel and memory access panel. 2. Remove the hinge cover panel by pulling outward on the panel at the slot on the top edge of the panel. Drive Access Panel The drive access panel is located on the rear, left side of the computer (viewed from behind). You must remove it to access the hard drive and optical drive.
