Keys NOTE: Refer to the illustration that most closely matches your computer. Component (1) fn key (2) Operating system logo key (3) Function keys (4) Embedded numeric keypad keys (5) Operating system applications key (6) num lk key Description Executes frequently used system functions when pressed in combination with a function key. Displays the operating system menu. Execute frequently used system functions when pressed in combination with the fn key. For more information, see Keyboard and pointing devices on page 24 Can be used like the keys on an external numeric keypad when pressed in combination with the fn and num lk keys. Each key on the keypad performs the function indicated by the icon in the upper-right corner of the key. Displays a shortcut menu for items beneath the cursor. Turns the embedded numeric keypad on and off when pressed in combination with the fn key. NOTE: The keypad function that is active when the computer is turned off is reinstated when the computer is turned back on. Top 9
