for HP ProLiant server blades
Overview
Use these instructions to install a solid state hard drive in the server
blade.

Installing a hard drive
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot
surfaces, allow the drives and the internal system
components to cool before touching them.
To install the component:
1.
Power down the server blade.
2.
Remove the server blade.
3.
Remove the access panel.
4.
Remove any component to access the hard drive location. For
detailed instructions, see the server blade-specific user guide.
5.
Connect the cables to the hard drive, if applicable. For
detailed instructions, see the server blade-specific user guide.
6.
Install the hard drive.
For detailed instructions and hard drive locations, see the label
attached to the server blade access panel or the documentation
that ships with the server blade.
7.
Connect and route the cables, if applicable. For detailed
instructions, see the server blade-specific user guide.
8.
Install any component removed when accessing the hard drive
location.
9.
Install the access panel.
10.
Install the server blade.
The installation is complete.
