About this document
This document provides important information needed prior to installing, initializing, and operating the
HP StorageWorks 4000/6000/8000 Enterprise Virtual Array. This information applies to the EVA4000,
EVA6000, and EVA8000 products.
Getting help with installation
An HP–authorized service provider will assist with the installation of the HP StorageWorks
4000/6000/8000 Enterprise Virtual Array hardware and software components. You should not attempt
to install or set up the Enterprise Virtual Array without an HP–authorized service provider.
In North America, call HP technical support at 1-800-354-9000. This service is available 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week.
