ARMServer Upgrade Requirement

This product uses upgraded firmware to implement new product features. The latest version of the

AutoRAID ARMServer software is required for proper operation with this firmware.

HP-UX users

The minimum HP-UX patch required is:

Note: The HP-UX patches will be rolled into IPR-0012 (Service Pack 51)

The latest AutoRAID ARMServer software patch is available in the hardware enablement bundle on any

IPR and or software extension CD-ROM released on or after

December 2000. This patch is also available

from the HP-UX Patch Catalog on the web at

the following location:

The current patch revision can be checked using the

swlist

command.

For example,

swlist

or

swlist –l product | grep AutoRAID

Windows NT users

The ARMServer software for Windows NT can be ordered from Hewlett-Packard as product A5253C or

part number A5253-60003.

The latest version of software and firmware can also be downloaded from Hewlett-Packard’s Customer

Care web site at http://www.hp.com/go/support. Select “Enterprise Storage” from the product menu. The

HP-UX patches may also be downloaded from this site.

MPE users

The ARMServer software is supported on MPE/iX 6.0 C.60.00 and requires the following patches:
