Serial Number Location Each thin client has a unique serial number which is located on the the thin client as shown in the following illustration. Keep this number available for use when contacting HP customer service for assistance. B Security Provisions Securing the Thin Client The HP Compaq t5000 thin client models are designed to accept a security cable lock. A separate security cable lock option is available for thin clients. This cable lock prevents the thin client from being removed from its location.
