Abstract
This guide describes the implementation of SNMP for monitoring HP StorageWorks XP24000/XP20000 storage systems. The
guide lists the monitored storage system components and supported traps, describes the trap protocol and extension MIB, and
explains how to use the GUI to limit SNMP access to specific SNMP managers. The intended audience is a storage system
administrator or authorized service provider with independent knowledge of HP StorageWorks XP storage systems and Remote
Web Console.
