The power supply section consists of the AC-DC power supplies and battery boxes. It also contains up to 128 disk drives for the XP24000 and contains up to 120 disk drives for the XP20000. Backup batteries The XP24000/XP20000 disk arrays use batteries and two modes of backup operation to provide backup power protection for cache memory, shared memory, the DKAs, CHAs, and disk drives. Managing the disk array The Remote Web Console software allows browser-based management of a single disk array.
