. The application allows you to back up and recover the primary hard drive on the PC. The functionality of HP Backup and Recovery Manager is not affected by a BIOS with the integrated F11 hotkey. If the backup is password protected, type the password required to open the backup file, and then click OK. You can password protect all backup files. 12. Restarting the system boots it under WinPE so you can access system recovery options. 2. If you selected Recover PC's factory installed operating system, drivers, utilities, and applications, follow the wizard to restore your computer to the original factory image. c.
