4 Set up your HP iPAQ Step 1: Remove the battery cover and insert the SIM card To remove the battery cover and insert the SIM card: 1. Press the cover latch on the battery cover and slide the cover down and away from the HP iPAQ. 2. Slide the SIM card slot cover and lift to open it. 5 Learn the basics Get started with your HP iPAQ by learning the basic functions such as knowing the Today screen, entering text, and synchronizing data.
