Grounding Terminal

The grounding terminal is used to connect to the ground cable to

protect the switch from lightning.

Power Supply

Use the a°ached power cord to connect the switch to socket.

Security Hole

Use the steel cable lock (op±onal) to lock the switch.

Gigabit Hi-PoE Port

Used for other Hi-PoE PTZ cameras connec±on, and the max. power

is 90 W.

Gigabit PoE Port

Used for other PoE devices connec±on via network cables.

Gigabit RJ45 Port

Used for devices connec±on via network cables.

Gigabit SFP Fiber Op±cal Port

Used for other devices connec±on via op±cal fiber when plugged into

with an op±cal module.

DIP Switch

Three modes are supported:

•

Extend: The last 2 PoE ports of

DS-3E0505/10HP and the last 4 of

DS-3E0520/28HP support network transmission of up to 300 metres.

•

Isola±on: Data transmission of each port is Isolated from each other

to Improve network security.

•

PoE Watchdog: Auto-detect and restart cameras that do not respond.

differences on 20 gigabit PoE ports, 28 LINK/ACT, 24 PoE indicators and fiber

This manual is applicable to DS-3E05XXHP series Gigabit unmanaged PoE switch.

Use the a°ached power adaptor only and not to change the adaptor randomly. Please

refer to specifica±on table for specific requirements of power adaptor.

responsibility for problems caused by unauthorized repair or maintenance.)

The device must be installed in machine room only, and only maintenance staff or

qualified person should access to the device.

Do not touch the upper cover area of the device that may be overheated.

Power must be shut down during cable connec±on, device installa±on and

dismantlement.

Proper configura±on of all passports and other security se²ngs is the responsibility of

the installer, and you shall keep user name and passports properly.

Please keep all original packing materials properly. If the product does not work properly,

pack the switch in its original packing materials for shipping. We shall not assume any

responsibility for damages caused by improper packing materials during shipping.

Ensure that your devices powered via the PoE port have their shells protected and

fire-proofed, because the switches are not compliant with the Limited Power Source

(LPS) standard.

This is a class A product and may cause radio interference in which case the user may be

required to take adequate measures.
