Timers Timers Select TIMERS to set your Clock, Sleep Timer, Event Timer and Day/Night Timer Recordings. 1. Use the CURSOR buttons ̆ or ̄ to highlight the function to be adjusted. 2. Press the SELECT button to select. Use the CURSOR PAD or CHANNEL WHEEL to highlight the chosen TIME ZONE settings. Use the CURSOR PAD or CHANNEL WHEEL to highlight the CURRENT TIME (hour and minute), AM or PM, MONTH, DAY, and YEAR. 4. Use the CURSOR PAD ̆, ̄ to adjust settings. Press the SELECT button to set the TIME AND DATE. 6. Press EXIT to quit the menu or select SET THE CLOCK to return to the previous menu. NOTE: 1. When AUTOMATICALLY ADJUST CLOCK FOR DAYLIGHT SAVING CHANGES is checked ■✔, the TV will automatically calculate the clock adjustment for Daylight Saving. 2. When the CableCARD is used, the TV will SET THE CLOCK automatically. 3. The TV counts electrical pulses for regulating the TIMERS. When the power cord is unplugged then plugged in quickly, the clock is stopped momentarily and the TIME indication will become slow. On-Screen Display 53
