Troubleshooting No. Items Notes 1 Buzzing sound display panel. from Plasma A buzzing sound may be heard when the plasma television is turned on in a very quiet room. This is due to the plasma panel drive circuit when it is functioning. The buzzing sound is normal and is not a malfunction. 2 Infrared interference Some infrared rays are emitted from the plasma television panel that might affect the operation of other infrared controlling equipment. High precision technology is used to manufacture the plasma television. But there 3 Bright and dark spots maybe points that do not illuminate, points that are too bright, and points with color different from that of the periphery. The plasma display panel display images by means of electrical discharges inside the panel. This may cause the temperature of the panel surface to increase. Please note that this is not a malfunction. 6 Plasma Surface A reinforced glass filter is installed over the plasma panel surface. A strong impact to the front panel risk a danger of glass breakage. Please transport the plasma television in it's packing box and placed in an upright 7 Transportation position. Do not transport the plasma television in a horizontal position. This increases the posibility of panel breakage and pixel failure. 8 Granular spots When a screen is seen at point-blank range, a random fine grain may be visible in the dark areas of the picture. 9 High temperature environment High temperature affect the electric discharge/luminescence characteristic of the PDP panel. Do not place the plasma television in high temperature environments. 10 Operation Operating altitude: 800 to 1,114hPa (6,194ft to -2,484ft). Operating temperature: 41˚F to 95˚F. 11 Storage Storage altitude: 300 to 1,114hPa (31,912ft to -2,484ft).
