CCTV Power Supply and Distribution Units

1 Overview

The

HPTV2404

and

HPTV2404CB

are CCTV power supply and distribution units.

They provide a constant source of

24 VAC with 4 A supply current.

Four individual outputs route power to operate CCTV Cameras and other video

accessories. For overload protection the HPTV2404 uses automotive style fuses and the HPTV2404CB has auto-

resettable PTCs.

Input 115 VAC, 60 HZ, 1 A.

4 A, 24 VAC (100 VA) supply current.

Four outputs

Note: Individual Output Circuits can be loaded to 3.0 A on HPTV2404 or 2.0 A on HPTV2404CB provided the total

current from all output combined is limited to 4.0 A.

•

Surge and transient protection.

•

Transformer has built in thermal protection.

•

LED Indicator Lights:

Input Power LED (Green) – ON indicates that 24 VAC is present at distribution board

Output Power LEDs (4 Green) – ON indicates that 24 VAC is present at the related output circuit.

Individual Output Circuit PTC: Hold Current (2.0 A at 50°C)

SPECIAL NOTE: To reset a PTC that has experienced an overload or short circuit, disconnect power for 5 minutes

to allow the PTC to reset itself.
