Cable modem 3.6 Installing the Router on a Community Broadband Network In some communities, network service providers use Ethernet interfaces as Internet interfaces. In such a community, you can access the Internet through your PC if a network adapter is installed on the PC. Figure 3-6 shows the cable connection of a community broadband network before the router is installed on the network. 3.6 Installing the Router on a Community Broadband
Network
In some communities, network service providers use Ethernet interfaces as Internet
