3. Installation Wizard 3. Installation Wizard When powering on your product for the first time after purchase, the installation wizard will operate automatically. This chapter includes the first time setup of the language, channel search, time setting and software update which will show you how to start the initial installation. ** Note: • The default password is 0000. • If you have forgotten your password, please contact your local product distributor. ** 3.1 Language Language allows you to select the main language. Select the appropriate language from the list using the button and press the OK button to save the selected language as a default language. ** Note: The display language may differ according to country. 3.2 Channel Search Channel Search enables you to enter the values such as Frequency, Symbol Rate and Network ID to activate channel search. 1. Select Frequency using the button. Enter the frequency using the NUMERIC(0-9) buttons. ** 2. Select Symbol Rate using the button. Select the symbol rate using the OK or button. Select User Define to enter the value directly. 3. Select Network ID using the button. Enter the network ID using the NUMERIC(0-9) buttons. 4. Select Next and press the OK button to search channels.
