SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
A PC with an OS and specifications and other items
listed below are required to install the USB driver for
the IC-F3400D, IC-F4400D, IC-F5400D, and IC-
F6400D series transceivers.

• A USB 1.1 or 2.0 port
• A CD drive
• A Micro-USB cable (user supplied)

Confirm no other applications are running.
2.
Connect a transceiver to your PC with the Micro-
USB cable.
3.
Turn ON the transceiver.
• “Installing device driver software” is displayed.
• Then “Device driver software was not successfully
installed” is displayed.
4.
Insert the CD into the CD drive.
