ENGLISH Activating/deactivating Announcement Standby Reception Announcement Standby Reception allows the unit to switch temporarily to your favorite service (announcement type). 5 Select an announcement type for Announcement Standby Reception. Announce Standby Transport News Warning News Weather Exit Event Announcement Standby Reception Indicator Enter = = (☞ below and ANN page 61). The unit will temporarily switch to your Lights up favorite service from any source other than FM/AM. Not yet activated. Tune in to another Flashes service providing the related signals. To deactivate, select in step 4, Goes off then touch 6 (☞ below). To activate Announcement Standby Reception 1 2 AV Menu Enter Mode 3 Mode D. Range Control Announce Standby PTy Standby Off 4 Announce Standby Select Off Transport News Exit Available announcement types: Transport news, Warning, News, Weather, Event, Special Event, Radio Info, Sports News, Financial News Tracing the same programme- Alternative Frequency Reception (DAB AF) • While receiving a DAB service: When driving in an area where a service cannot be received, this unit automatically tunes in to another ensemble or FM RDS station broadcasting the same programme. • While receiving an FM RDS station: When driving in an area where a DAB service is broadcasting the same programme as the FM RDS station, this unit automatically tunes in to the DAB service. When shipped from the factory, Alternative Frequency Reception is activated. You can deactivate the Alternative Frequency Reception. ☞ page 58. 49 EXTERNAL DEVICES
