POWER SOURCE This AM/FM CD Cassette Recorder operates on 8 X `D' size (UM-1) batteries or from extended and rotated to obtain the best possible station reception. The FM Stereo Indicator (#18) will light steadily when a stereo program is being received. 2. The AM antenna is built into the unit - Jensen CD 545 | Instruction Manual - Page 9
