VR187 Basic Operation (continued) 6. Menu Operation Press MENU (6) for more than three seconds to access the menu feature. Once this feature is activated, press MENU momentarily to step though the available menu options, then turn the MENU knob to change the setting for that option, if desired. After adjusting the setting, wait five seconds for the new setting to be saved into memory. When no adjustments have been made for five seconds, the unit will resume normal operation. The following options are controlled through the menu feature: Audible Beep Press MENU for more than three seconds to access the menu feature. When "BEEP ON/OFF" appears in the display, rotate the MENU knob to turn the audible beep on or off. When this feature is turned on, the unit will beep each time a button is pressed. Turning off this feature disables the audible beep, and no beep will be heard when pressing buttons. Programmable Turn-on Volume Press MENU for more than three seconds to access the menu feature. When "BEEP ON/OFF" appears in the display, press MENU one time, then rotate the MENU knob to select the volume level for the unit to assume each time it is turned on. Frequency Spacing This option allows a selection between USA (200k for FM and 10k for AM) and European (50k for FM and 9k for AM) radio frequency spacing. Press MENU for more than three seconds to access the menu feature. When "BEEP ON/OFF" appears in the display, press MENU two times, then rotate the MENU knob to select USA or European spacing. Clock Display Press MENU for more than three seconds to access the menu feature. When "BEEP ON/OFF" appears in the display, press MENU three times, then rotate the MENU knob to select whether or not the clock will remain displayed when the accessory is on but the unit is powered off. Display Priority Press MENU for more than three seconds to access the menu feature. When "BEEP ON/OFF" appears in the display, press MENU four times, then rotate the MENU knob to select between clock priority, frequency priority or no priority for the display. Clock Setting Press MENU for more than three seconds to access the menu feature. When "BEEP ON/OFF" appears in the display, press MENU five times, then rotate the MENU knob to select either a 12hour clock or a 24-hour clock. Operación Básica (continuado) 6.
