Electrical Requirements, Troubleshooting Problems

Page 7 highlights

Electrical Requirements Volts: 120 A.C. only. Hertz: 60 NOTE: This mixer has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way. Troubleshooting Problems If your mixer should malfunction or fail to operate, check the following: 1. Is the mixer plugged in? 2. Is the fuse in the circuit to the mixer in working order? If you have a circuit breaker box, make sure the circuit is closed. 3. Try unplugging the mixer, then plug it back in. If the problem cannot be corrected with the above steps, see the KitchenAid Warranty on page 3. Do not return the mixer to the retailer - they do not provide service. 5
