3 Handling and Loading Paper Handling and Loading Paper You can use many different types and sizes of paper in your Kodak ESP 3 All-in-One printer, including letter paper, photo paper, transparencies, envelopes, cards, and labels. The printer automatically detects the size and type of photo paper you load in the paper tray, and then adjusts to generate the highest quality output for that paper. For best results use KODAK Inkjet Papers. KODAK Inkjet Papers have been optimized to work with KODAK All-in-One Printers. They contain bar-coding to enable the printer to automatically detect the paper type and make adjustments to generate the highest quality output. Loading an Original When copying or scanning using the Kodak ESP 3 All-in-One printer, place your original directly on the scanner glass. 1 Lift the lid and place your original face down on the right front corner of the scanner glass. Notice the silver arrow pointing to the right front corner. 2 Press Copy or Scan on the control panel. 3 To copy or scan oversized originals, completely remove the lid from the printer. The printer functions normally with the lid removed. To remove the lid, lift the lid to the open position, grasp the sides of the lid, and then gently pull the lid upward. User Guide 13

Handling and Loading Paper

Loading an Original
