Chapter 8 Troubleshooting Printer Fails to Power On Probable Cause The power supply is not properly connected. Corrective Action • Make sure the power cord is connected to the power supply and plugged into a grounded power outlet or power strip. • If you are using a power strip, make sure it is turned on. • If you are using a switched power outlet, make sure the switch is on. • Make sure the power outlet is supplying power. • If none of the above corrects the problem, contact Kodak support. Device not Recognized Probable Cause Any of the following can prevent your Kodak printer from reading a connected digital camera, USB thumb drive, or memory card. • The camera is turned OFF. • The USB connector from the camera is not fully inserted in the port. • The memory card is not completely inserted. • The memory card is in backwards. • The memory card file system is corrupt. • Make sure camera is in "connect" mode (PTP). • More than one memory card inserted. • The USB device is not supported. Printer Fails to Power On
Probable Cause
The power supply is not properly connected.
Corrective Action
Make sure the power cord is connected to the power supply and plugged into a grounded
power outlet or power strip.
If you are using a power strip, make sure it is turned on.
If you are using a switched power outlet, make sure the switch is on.
Make sure the power outlet is supplying power.
If none of the above corrects the problem, contact Kodak support.
Device not Recognized
Probable Cause
Any of the following can prevent your Kodak printer from reading a connected digital camera, USB
thumb drive, or memory card.
The camera is turned OFF.
