DRPD Select this mode when using DRPD (Distinctive Ring Pattern Detection). If the receiver rings with the pattern selected from the four ring patterns available, the incoming call is automatically received as a fax. In order to use DRPD, the following settings in the [Fax Settings] screen ([Admin Settings]) must be specified. „ Set [Comm. Settings] - [RX Mode] to [DRPD]. „ With [Comm. Settings] - [Ring Pattern], select the ring pattern for faxing. " For details on the settings, refer to "[Comm. Settings]" on page 2-10. [Ring Pattern] Refer to the following table and select the ring pattern. Settings [Normal Ring] [Double] [Triple 1] [Triple 2] Ring Pattern L-ON + L-OFF L-ON + S-OFF + L-ON + L-OFF S-ON + S-OFF + L-ON + S-OFF + S-ON + L-OFF S-ON + S-OFF + S-ON + S-OFF + L-ON + L-OFF S-ON (Short-ON): On for 150 ms to 600 ms L-ON (Long-ON): On for more than 600 ms S-OFF (Short-OFF): Off for 100 ms to 1,200 ms L-OFF (Long-OFF): Off for more than 1,200 ms 4-4 Receiving G3 faxes
