Changing the administrator password The following procedure describes how to change the administrator password. 1 Press [Administrator Password]. 2 Press [Password] (top). 3 Type in the current administrator password, and then press [OK]. 4 Press [Password] (bottom). 5 Type in the new administrator password, and then press [OK]. 6 Press [OK]. Limitations of the password rules If password rules have been applied, limitations are placed on certain passwords. Specified passwords must be changed to meet the conditions. Passwords regulated by the password rules - Administrator password - User passwords - Account passwords - Passwords for secure documents 3-74 [Admin Settings]
