Preface > Notice Laser Safety (Europe) Laser radiation could be hazardous to the human body. For this reason, laser radiation emitted inside this machine is hermetically sealed within the protective housing and external cover. In the normal operation of the product by user, no radiation can leak from the machine. This machine is classified as Class 1 laser product under IEC/EN 60825-1:2007. Caution: Performance of procedures other than those specified in this manual may result in hazardous radiation exposure. These labels are attached to the laser scanner unit inside the machine and are not in a user access area. The label shown below is attached on the left side of the machine. 1-4
