NOTE: Before receiving encrypted communications, you must determine an encryption key with the sender and register it under an encryption key ID. For more information, refer to Registering New Encryption Keys on page 5-39. 1 Complete the encrypted reception setting, specify encrypted reception, and select the encryption key ID. For more information, refer to Setting Up Encrypted Reception on page 5-41. 2 The sender will initiate encrypted transmission.
