FAX System Settings Remote Diagnosis In case of the malfunction occurs with the FAX System, use this feature to give the service center computer access to the FAX System via the telephone line for updating the software when you contact a service agent. Before using remote diagnosis, you must enter the unique ID into the FAX System (this ID was provided by the service agent when you signed the service agreement). For more information, consult your service agent or dealer. 1 Press System Menu/Counter. 2 Press S or T to select Service Setting. Press Enter. 3 Press S or T to select Remote Diag.Set. Press Enter. 4 Press S or T to select On or Off. Press Enter. Remote Diag. Set.: *Off On Cancel 5 Press right Select to return to the basic screen. OPERATION GUIDE 7-21
