Getting Started Installing the SIM card and battery 1. Remove the battery cover Use your thumb to press on the top center of the back cover, then slide the cover downwards (as depicted below). Then lift the cover to remove it. 2. Remove the battery Hold the top edge of the phone and use the fingernail cutouts near the bottom of the battery to lift the battery from the phone. Warning Do not remove the battery when the phone is turned on; this can damage the phone. 11

Installing the SIM card and
battery
1. Remove the battery cover
Use your thumb to press on the top center
of the back cover, then slide the cover
downwards (as depicted below). Then lift the
cover to remove it.
2. Remove the battery
Hold the top edge of the phone and use the
fingernail cutouts near the bottom of the
battery to lift the battery from the phone.
Warning
Do not remove the battery when the phone is
turned on; this can damage the phone.
