When performing motor tests, ensure that all cover and door interlock switches are overridden. 1. Enter the Diagnostics Menu. 2. Touch MOTOR TESTS. 3. Touch FINISHER MOTOR TESTS. 4. Touch Stapler carriage motor (forward). 5. Touch Stapler carriage motor (rearward). Replace the sensor (stapler carriage HP). Go to "Sensor (stapler carriage HP) removal" on page 4-334. Go to step 6. Does the above component operate properly? 5 Check the stapler transport motor Replace the stapler transport for proper connection. motor. Go to step 3. Replace the connection. Go to step 5.
