Paper Weight menu In the Paper Weight menu, the Select Type and Select Weight features work together to enable you to select the weight for a specific type of paper. Menu item Select Type Plain Weight Card Stock Weight Transparency Weight Recycled Weight Labels Weight Bond Weight Envelope Weight Rough Envelope Weight Letterhead Weight Preprinted Weight Colored Weight Light Weight Heavy Weight Rough/Cotton Weight Custom Texture Select Weight Light Normal Heavy Description Specifies the paper type After you select a setting for Select Type, the Select Weight feature lets you set the weight for that type of media. Notes: • Normal is the factory default setting for most items. • When Light Weight is the setting selected for Select Type, Light is the only Select Weight setting available. • When Heavy Weight is the setting selected for Select Type, Heavy is the only Select Weight setting available. • Settings appear only if the paper is supported. Custom Types menu Menu item Custom Type Paper Card Stock Transparency Labels Envelope Rough/Cotton Description Name a Custom Type , and this user-defined name displays instead of Custom Type .
