he ADSL Gateway is an all-in-one solution for setting up a
high-speed broadband-sharing network with the option for
bridging a wireless network in the future.
With its built-in ADSL
modem and 4-port switch, you have all of the elements for a
broadband network and a built-in firewall to provide network

Plus, the wireless-ready PC card slot makes it very simple to
add wireless capability to your LAN – just insert a Linksys
Wireless PC Card (sold separately.)
Configurable as a DHCP
server for your existing network, the ADSL Gateway acts as the
only externally recognized Internet gateway on your local area
network (LAN) and serves as an Internet NAT and Stateful
Packet Inspection firewall to protect against unwanted
intruders from the Internet.
