Getting Started 3-15 Basic Operations If you are a beginner to the notebook, please read the following instructions to assure your own safety, and make yourself comfortable during the operations. Safety and Comfort Tips The notebook is a portable platform that allows you to work anywhere. However, choosing a good workspace is important if you have to work with your notebook for a long period of time. Š Your work area should have enough illumination. Š Choose the proper desk and chair and adjust their height to fit your posture when operating. Š When sitting on the chair, adjust the chair's back (if available) to support your back comfortably. Š Place you feet flat and naturally on the floor, so that your knees and elbows have the proper position (about 90-degree) when operating. Š Put your hands on the desk naturally to support your wrists. Š Adjust the angle/position of the LCD panel to have an optimal view. Š Avoid using your notebook in the space where may cause you discomfort (such as on the bed). Š The notebook is an electrical device, please treat it with great care to avoid personal injury
