Cassette compartment (VCR) Insert a cassette tape here. 2. OPEN/CLOSE A button (DVD)* Press to open or close the disc tray. 3. Disc tray (DVD) Place a disc when it is open. 4. AUDIO input jacks (E2) (DVD/VCR) Use to connect external device with a RCA audio cable. 5. VIDEO input jack (E2) (DVD/VCR) Use to connect external device with a RCA video cable. 6. S-VIDEO input jack (E2) (DVD/VCR) Use to connect the S-video output of external device with an S-video cable. 7. RECORD Ibutton (DVD) Press once to start recording. Press repeatedly to start the one-touch timer recording. 8. PLAY B button (DVD)* Press to start or resume playback. 9. STOP C button (DVD) Press to stop playback or recording. Press to stop the proceeding timer recording in DVD. 10. DVD indicator Lights up when the DVD output mode is selected. 11. SOURCE button (DVD/VCR) Press to select the component you wish to operate. 12. VCR indicator Lights up when the VCR output mode is selected. 13. D.DUBBING button (DVD/VCR) Press to start VCR to DVD (DVD to VCR) duplication which you set in the main menu. 14. CHANNEL L / K buttons (DVD/VCR) Press to change the channel up and down. 15. Display Refer to "Front Panel Display" on page 12. 16. Infrared sensor window (DVD/VCR) Receive signals from your remote control so that you can control the unit from a distance. 17. RECORD I button (VCR) Press once to start a recording. Press repeatedly to start the one-touch timer recording. 18. PLAY B button (VCR) Press to start playback. 19. STOP C / EJECT A button (VCR) EJECT A button Press to remove the cassette tape from the cassette compartment. STOP C button Press to stop cassette tape playback or recording.
