The new Marantz SR6010 is based on last year’s highly successful SR6009

but offers several, significant improvements over its predecessor. Power

remains the same with seven identical, high current, discrete amplifiers,

each rated at 110 watts. With 9.1 channels of processing capability and

13.2 channel pre-outs, the SR6010 offer extreme versatility for the home

theater enthusiast. Featuring both Dolby Atmos

®

and DTS:X™ (via future

firmware update), users will be able to enjoy these new, more immer-

sive surround sound formats that create a three-dimensional listening

experience. With 8 HDMI inputs (including 1 conveniently located on the

front panel) and 2 multi-zone/multi-source HDMI outputs, the SR6010

features an advanced video processing system. Prepared for the future, it

is equipped to handle 4K Ultra HD full rate 60Hz content, 4:4:4 Pure Color

sub-sampling, rec.2020 color gamut and 21:9 aspect ratio pass-through.

It’s also HDCP 2.2 compliant, which is a requirement for 4K Ultra HD copy-

protected content. In addition, because we have upgraded the SR6010 to

the Audyssey Platinum suite of technologies (MultEQ XT32, SubEQ HT and

LFC), you get an even more accurate calibration of the system’s speaker

configuration to guarantee that every seat in the room is optimized. There

is even an option for an Audyssey MultEQ Pro calibration. Like every new

Marantz A/V receiver this year, the SR6010 has Wi-Fi B, G and N and

Bluetooth

built in and supports Apple lossless (ALAC), gapless playback,

FLAC HD 192/24 and even DSD and AIFF network streaming. Support

as well. But we haven’t changed everything. We have maintained its

predecessor’s well-deserved reputation for audio quality, a combination of

effortless power, amazing detail, and sensational imaging, thanks to the

use of current feedback technology and HDAM (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier

Module) pre-amplification. And to get it all up and running quickly and

easily, there’s a handy Setup Assistant with its best-in-class on-screen

graphic user interface.
