1. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS -

This manual contains important

safety and operating instructions for the REDLITHIUM™ USB battery

and USB rechargeable light.

2.

CAUTION

Use and charge only REDLITHIUM™ USB batteries in

this USB rechargeable light. Do not use counterfeit,

aftermarket, or "knockoff" batteries or chargers. Do not wire a battery

pack to a power supply plug or car cigarette lighter.

3. Before using the battery and light, read the operator's manual and all

labels on the battery and light.

4.

Use only with Listed/Certified ITE power supply.

5. Avoid dangerous environments.

Do not charge battery in rain, snow, damp

or wet locations. Do not use battery or charger in the presence of explosive

atmospheres (gaseous fumes, dust or flammable materials) because sparks

may be generated when inserting or removing battery, possibly causing fire.

6.

Charge in a well ventilated area

. Do not block charger vents. Keep them

clear to allow proper ventilation. Do not allow smoking or open flames near

a charging battery. Vented gases may explode.

7. Maintain charger cord.

When unplugging charger, pull plug rather than

cord. Never carry charger by its cord. Keep cord from heat, oil and sharp

edges. Make sure cord will not be stepped on, tripped over or subjected to

damage or stress. Do not use charger with damaged cord or plug. Have a

damaged charger replaced immediately.

8. Use only recommended attachments.

9.

Always unplug charger before cleaning or maintenance.

10. Do not burn or incinerate batteries.

Battery may explode. Toxic fumes

and materials are created when battery are burned.

11. Do not crush, drop, or damage battery pack.

Always securely contain

battery packs during transport. Do not use a battery pack that has received

a sharp blow, been dropped, run over, or damaged in any way (e.g., pierced

with a nail, hit with a hammer, stepped on, in a vehicle accident).

12. Do not disassemble.

If it is damaged, take it to a MILWAUKEE service

facility.

13. Battery chemicals cause serious burns.

Never allow contact with skin,

eyes, or mouth. If a damaged battery leaks battery chemicals, use rubber

or neoprene gloves to dispose of it. If skin is exposed to battery fluids, wash

with soap and water and rinse with vinegar. If eyes are exposed to battery

chemicals, immediately flush with water for 20 minutes and seek medical

attention. Remove and dispose of contaminated clothing.

14. Do not short circuit.

A short-circuited battery pack may cause fire, personal

injury, and product damage.

A battery pack will short circuit if a metal object

makes a connection between the positive and negative contacts on the

battery pack. Do not place a battery pack near anything that may cause a

short circuit, such as coins, keys or nails in your pocket.

15.

Do not allow fluids to flow into battery pack.

Corrosive or conduc

-

tive fluids, such as seawater, certain industrial chemicals, and bleach or

bleach containing products, etc., can cause a short circuit.

16. Store

in a cool, dry place. Do not store battery where temperatures may

exceed 120°F (50°C) such as in direct sunlight, a vehicle, or metal building

during the summer.

17. To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary

when an

appliance is used near children.

18. Store idle light out of reach of children.

Warm lights can become hazard-

ous in the hands of children.

19.

Know your light.

Read this manual carefully to learn your light's applica

-

tions and limitations as well as potential hazards associated with this type

of light.

20. Maintain labels and nameplates.

These carry important information. If

unreadable or missing, contact a MILWAUKEE service facility for a free

replacement.

To reduce the risk of fire, personal injury, and prod

-

uct damage due to a short circuit, never immerse

your tool, battery pack or charger in fluid or allow a fluid to flow

inside them. Corrosive or conductive fluids, such as seawater,

certain industrial chemicals, and bleach or bleach containing prod-

ucts, etc., can cause a short circuit.

Maintenance and Storage

Do not expose your battery or cordless tools to water or rain, or allow them

to get wet. This could damage the tool and battery. Do not use oil or solvents

to clean or lubricate your battery. The plastic casing will become brittle and

crack, causing a risk of injury.

Store batteries at room temperature away from moisture. Do not store in

damp locations where corrosion of terminals may occur. As with other bat

-

tery types, permanent capacity loss can result if the pack is stored for long

periods of time at high temperatures (over 120°F). MILWAUKEE Li-Ion bat

-

teries maintain their charge during storage longer than other battery types.

After about a year of storage, charge the battery as normal.

WARNING

To reduce the risk of injury or explosion, never burn

or incinerate a battery pack even if it is damaged,

dead or completely discharged. When burned, toxic fumes and

materials are created.

Disposing of MILWAUKEE Li-Ion Battery

MILWAUKEE Li-Ion batteries are more environmentally friendly than some

other types of power tool batteries. Always dispose of your battery according

to federal, state and local regulations. Contact a recycling agency in your

area for recycling locations.

Even discharged batteries contain some energy. Before disposing, use

electrical tape to cover the terminals to prevent the battery from shorting,

which could cause a fire or explosion.

RBRC Battery Recycling Seals

The RBRC™ Battery Recycling Seals (see "Symbology") on your batteries

indicate that MILWAUKEE has arranged for the recycling of that battery with

the Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation (RBRC). At the end of your

battery's useful life, return the battery to a MILWAUKEE Branch Office/Service

Center or the participating retailer nearest you. For more information, visit

the RBRC web site at www.rbrc.org.

1. INSTRUCTIONS DE SÉCURITÉ IMPORTANTES -

Ce manuel

contient des instructions importantes concernant la sécurité et le

fonctionnement de la lampe rechargeable par USB et la batterie USB

REDLITHIUM™.

2.

ATTENTION

Utiliser et charger uniquement les batteries USB

REDLITHIUM™ avec cette lampe rechargeable USB.

Ne pas utiliser des batteries ou des chargeurs contrefaits, falsifiés ou

« truqués ». Ne pas relier un bloc-piles à une prise secteur ou à un

allume-cigare.

3. Avant d’utiliser la pile et la lampe de poche, lisez ce manuel de

l’operateur ainsi que toutes les étiquettes qui se trouveront sur la

lampe de poche et la pile.

Utiliser uniquement avec une source d’alimentation ITE listée/certifiée.

5. Évitez des milieux dangereux.

Ne chargez pas la pile dans des milieux

ayant de la pluie, neige, humidité ni d’environnements mouillés. N’utilisez

pas la pile ni le chargeur dans des atmosphères explosives (ayant des

vapeurs gazeux, poudre ou matériel inflammable) parce que des étincelles

pourront être créées lorsque la pile est insérée ou retirée, pouvant bien

provoquer des incendies.

6.

Chargez-la dans un espace bien aéré.

Ne bloquez pas les bouches du

chargeur. Préservez-las propres pour assurer une bonne aération. Ne lais

-

sez pas de fumes ni flames décontrôlées près d’une pile du chargeur. Les

gaz aérés pourront exploser.

7. Entretenir le cordon du chargeur.

Lors du débranchement du chargeur,

tirez sur la fiche plutôt que sur le cordon. Ne portez jamais le chargeur par

son cordon. Gardez le cordon de la chaleur, de l’huile et des bords tran

-

chants. Assurez-vous que le cordon ne sera pas mis sur un pied, trébuché

ou soumis à des dommages ou à du stress. N’utilisez pas de char-ger avec

un cordon ou une fiche endommagé. Faites remplacer immédiatement un

chargeur endommagé.

8. Utiliser exclusivement les accessoires recommandés.

9. Débranchez toujours le chargeur avant de le nettoyer ou l’entretenir.

10.

Ne pas brûler ou incinérer les piles.

Les batteries peuvent exploser. Des va

-

peurs et des matériaux toxiques sont créés lorsque les batteries sont brûlées.

Ne pas écraser, laisser tomber ou endommager les blocs-piles.

Tou

jours mettre les blocs-piles dans un conteneur sûr durant le transport. Ne

pas utiliser une batterie ou un chargeur qui ont subi un choc violent, ont

été écrasés ou endommagés de quelque façon que ce soit (par exemple,

s’ils ont été percés par un clou, frappés avec un marteau ou piétinés).

Ne pas désarmer le bloc-piles.

Si jamais il est endommagé, le confier à

un centre de service MILWAUKEE

.

13.

Les produits chimiques entraînent des brûlures graves.

Ne permettez

pas qu’ils entrent en contact avec la peau, les yeux ni la bouche. Si de la

pile endommagée des produits chimiques se coulent, utilisez des gants en

caoutchouc ou néoprène pour se débarrasser d’elle. Si la peau est exposée

à des fluides de la pile, lavez-la avec du savon et de l’eau et rincez-la avec

du vinaigre. Si les yeux sont exposés aux produits chimiques de la pile,

lavez-les avec pleine de l’eau pendant 20 minutes et consultez un médecin.

Retirez les vêtements contaminés et se débarrassez d’eux.

14.

Ne pas court-circuiter.

Un bloc-piles court-circuité pourra mener un

incendie, des blessures physiques et endommager le produit.

Un bloc-

piles court-circuitera si un objet métallique établit une connexion entre les

contacts positif et négatif du bloc-piles. Mettre le bloc-piles à l’écart de tout

ce qui pourra causer un court-circuit, tel que des pièces de monnaie, des

clés ou des clous dans votre poche

.

15.

Ne pas laisser les fluides entrer dans le bloc-piles.

Les fluides corrosifs

et conducteurs, tels que l’eau de mer, quelques produits chimiques industri

-

els et solutions d’eau de javel ou d’autres produits ayant de l’hypochlorite,

etc., Pourront provoquer des courts-circuits.

16.

Conserver dans un endroit frais et sec.

N’entreposez pas de batterie

là où les températures peuvent dépasser 50°C (120°F), comme en plein

soleil, un véhicule ou un bâtiment métallique pendant l’été.

17.

AVERTISSEMENT

Pour réduire le risque d’incendie, de blessures

corporelles et de dommages causés par un

court-circuit, ne jamais immerger l’outil, le bloc-piles ou le chargeur

dans un liquide ou laisser couler un fluide à l’intérieur de celui-ci.

Les fluides corrosifs ou conducteurs, tels que l’eau de mer, certains

produits chimiques industriels, les produits de blanchiment ou de

blanchiment, etc., peuvent provoquer un court-circuit.

Entretien et entreposage

Après un an d'entreposage, rechargez le bloc-piles comme d’habitude.

AVERTISSEMENT

Mise au rebut du bloc-piles Li-ion MILWAUKEE

Les blocs-piles Li-ion MILWAUKEE sont plus écologiques que d’autres

types de piles pour outils portables. Mettre au rebut votre bloc-piles con

-

formément aux réglementations locales, nationales et fédérales. Contacter

une agence de recyclage dans votre région pour les lieux de recyclage.

Même déchargés, les blocs-piles contiennent un peu d’énergie. Avant la mise

au rebut, utiliser du ruban isolant pour recouvrir les contacts pour empêcher

Inserting the Battery

1. Open the battery door.

2. Line up the battery with the compartment and fully insert the battery.

3. Close the battery door.

Charging the Battery

1. Plug your USB cable into a power source such as an AC wall adaptor,

computer or car port.

2. Lift the rubber cover to expose the USB port. Insert the USB plug into the

USB port. Users may experience longer charge times from laptops and

other power sources.

3. The indicator light will display the charging status:

Red Pulsing: Charging, 0-49%

Yellow Pulsing: Charging, 50-99%

Green Solid: Charging 100%

Red/Green Flashing: Cold, Wet, Faulty or No Battery

Red Solid: Over temperature (too hot)

If the light indicator flashes red and green, check that the battery is

fully seated into the bay. Remove the battery and reinsert. If the light

continues to flash red and green, the battery may be extremely hot or

cold, or wet. Allow the battery to cool down, warm up, or dry out and then

reinsert. If the problem persists, contact a MILWAUKEE service facility.

Operation

CAUTION

To reduce the risk of injury, do not stare at the operat-

ing light source.

Headlamp

Clip the light onto the strap and use the buckle to adjust the strap to the

required size. Use the included clips to attach to a hard hat. Rotate the

light up or down as needed.

Press the power button

to turn the light on and off.

Press the mode button to cycle through Spot/Flood, Flood High, Flood

Medium, Flood Low, and Spot.

The fuel gauge will display the battery capacity:

Green Solid:

50-100% remaining

Yellow Solid:

11-49% remaining

Red Solid:

4-10% remaining

Red Flashing: 0-3% remaining

During use, when the battery charge reaches 3%, the main LED and charge

indicator will flash, indicating up to 5 minutes of runtime remains. Prior to

immediate shutdown, the main

LED will flash 3 times, then the tool will

shutdown. Remaining runtime may be less than 5 minutes if the light is

turned on when battery capacity is already 0-3%.

BEACON™ Light

Press the power button

to cycle through on, strobe and off. Press and

hold the power button

to turn off without cycling.

WARNING

To reduce the risk of injury, always unplug the

charger and remove the battery from the charger

before performing any maintenance. The charger and battery

have no internal serviceable parts.

Never disassemble the battery

or charger.

Maintenance and Storage

Store your charger in a cool, dry place. As a general practice, it is best to

unplug battery chargers and remove batteries when not in use. No battery

damage will occur, however, if the charger and battery are left plugged in.

WARNING

To reduce the risk of injury and damage, never im-

merse your battery or charger in liquid or allow a

liquid to flow inside them.

Cleaning

Clean out dust and debris from charger vents and electrical contacts by

blowing with compressed air. Use only mild soap and a damp cloth to clean

the battery and charger, keeping away from all electrical contacts. Certain

cleaning agents and solvents are harmful to plastics and other insulated

parts. Some of these include gasoline, turpentine, lacquer thinner, paint

thinner, chlorinated cleaning solvents, ammonia and household detergents

containing ammonia. Never use flammable or combustible solvents around

batteries, charger, or tools.

MILWAUKEE distributor only to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Subject to certain exceptions, MIL

WAUKEE will repair or replace repair a REDLITHIUM™ USB battery or charger which, after examination, is determined

by MILWAUKEE to be defective in material or workmanship for a period of two (2) years after the date of purchase

unless otherwise noted. Return of the REDLITHIUM™ USB battery or charger to a MILWAUKEE factory Service Center

location or MILWAUKEE Authorized Service Station, freight prepaid and insured, is required. For the proper shipping

proof of purchase should be included with the return product. This warranty does not apply to damage that MILWAUKEE

Normal Wear:

The Rechargeable Personal Lighting Products referenced above are warranted to the original purchaser from an

authorized MILWAUKEE distributor only to be free from defects in material and workmanship.

Subject to certain

exceptions, MILWAUKEE will repair or replace any part on the above Rechargeable Personal Lighting Products which,

after examination, is determined by MILWAUKEE to be defective in material or workmanship for a period of two (2)

years after the date of purchase.

All other MILWAUKEE Personal Lighting Products* (see exceptions below) are warranted to the original purchaser from

an authorized MILWAUKEE distributor only to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Subject to certain

LED in the personal lighting products, subject to the limitations herein.

*This warranty does not cover Cordless Battery Packs or Chargers.

Return of all personal lighting products to a MILWAUKEE factory Service Center location or MILWAUKEE Authorized

Service Station, freight prepaid and insured, is required. A copy of the proof of purchase should be included with the

return product. The above warranties do not apply to damage that MILWAUKEE determines to be from repairs made or

attempted by anyone other than MILWAUKEE authorized personnel, misuse, alterations, abuse, normal wear and tear,

lack of maintenance, accidents, or caused by alkaline batteries.
