To select a text entry mode: Press Options in any text entry screen, scroll to and select Change Text Mode #, then scroll to and select the desired entry mode. entry mode indicators When you select Primary or Secondary entry mode, these indicators identify the entry setting: primary abÔ AbÆ ABù abÛ Ab Ü secondary abÕ Tap, no capital letters AbÖ Tap, capitalize next letter only ABú Tap, all capital letters abÚ iTAPTM, no capital letters Ab Ø iTAP, capitalize next letter only primary AB ü secondary AB û iTAP, all capital letters The indicators for Numeric and Symbol entry modes are: non-text entry mode ÔÕ numeric mode [ symbol mode capitalization Press 0 in a text entry screen to change text case. tap method This is the standard method for entering text. Regular Tap method cycles through the letters and numbers of the key you press. The Tap Extended method cycles through letters, numbers, and symbols.
