GRAYSCALE MONITOR, ANNOUNCES NEW MEDICAL BUNDLED SOLUTION
NEC MultiSync MD205MG Display Appears in the HP Booth at HIMSS
Conference February 25-28 in Orlando
CHICAGO – February 25, 2008 –
NEC Display Solutions of America, a leading stand-
alone provider of commercial and residential LCD, plasma, and projector displays, today
announced 510k market clearance for radiology from the Food & Drug Administration for
the MD205MG 5-megapixel flat-panel monitor.
This NEC MultiSync MD205MG grayscale display also forms the core of a new NEC
medical bundled solution.
The NEC MD205-DRV bundled solution includes two
MD205MG displays and a high-performance video card for medical applications from
Realvision.
The NEC MD205MG will be shown at the 2008 Health Information and Management
Systems Society (HIMSS) Annual Conference and Exhibition today through February 28
at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
The monitor and other NEC
products can be seen mounted on an Ergotron (No. 362) medical cart in the HP (No.
6362) booth at HIMSS.
