C Self-Timer Lamp Blinking The self-timer lamp blinks when the camera detects a face, and flickers immediately after the shutter is released. C Releasing the Shutter Manually The shutter can also be released by pressing the shutter-release button. If no faces are detected, the camera focuses on the subject at the center of the frame. C Functions Available in Smart Portrait Mode • Flash mode (A 28) changes automatically to U (auto flash) when the flash is raised. (This can be changed.) • The self-timer and macro mode are not available. • The exposure compensation (A 32) is available. • Press the d button in smart portrait mode to change the combination of image quality (compression) and image size in image mode (A 53). Auto Off (Standby Mode) When Using Smart Portrait Mode
When using smart portrait mode, Auto off (
