The Smart Portrait Menu • See "Changing the Image Size (Image Mode)" (A 60) for information about Image mode. Skin Softening Select smart portrait mode M d button M F tab M Skin softening Enable skin softening. Option Description When the shutter is released, the camera detects one or more human e On (default setting) faces (up to three), and processes the image to soften facial skin tones before saving the image. k Off Turns skin softening off. The icon for the current setting is displayed in the monitor when the camera is in shooting mode (A 6). No icon is displayed when Off is selected. The degree of skin softening effect cannot be confirmed on the subject on the shooting screen. Check the degree of skin softening performed in playback mode. Reference Section E22
