Print Date (Imprinting Date and Time) d button M z tab M Print date M k button The shooting date and time can be imprinted on the images when shooting, allowing the information to be printed even from printers that do not support date printing (E53). Reference Section 15.11.2012 Option f Date S Date and time k Off (default setting) Description Date is imprinted on images. Date and time are imprinted on images. Date and time are not imprinted on images. The icon for the current setting is displayed in the monitor when the camera is in shooting mode (A 8). No icon is displayed when Off is selected. B Notes About Print Date • Imprinted dates form a permanent part of image data and cannot be deleted. The date and time cannot be imprinted on images after they have been captured. • The date cannot be imprinted in the following situations: - When using Night portrait (when Hand-held is selected), Easy panorama, Pet portrait (when Continuous is selected), or 3D photography in scene mode - When recording movies • Dates imprinted at an Image mode setting (E39) of O 640×480 may be difficult to read. Select an Image mode setting of q 1600×1200 or larger when using print date. • The date is saved using the format selected in the setup menu's Time zone and date option (A 18, E70). C Print Date and Print Order When printing with a DPOF-compatible printer that can print the shooting date and shooting information, you can use the Print order option (E51) to print this information in images, even if the Print date function was set to Off at the time of shooting.
