Features That Can Be Set by Pressing the d Button (Playback Menu) When viewing images in full-frame playback mode or thumbnail playback mode, you can configure the menu operations listed below by pressing the d button. When using favorite pictures (h), auto sort (F), or list by date (C) mode, the menu for the current playback mode is displayed. Option Description A k Quick retouch1, 2 Allows you to create retouched copies in which contrast and saturation have been enhanced. E19 I D-Lighting1, 2 Allows you to create copies with enhanced brightness and contrast, brightening dark portions of an image. E20 e Skin softening1, 2 The camera detects people's faces in images and creates a copy with softer facial skin tones. E21 p Filter effects1, 2 a Print order3, 4 b Slide show3 d Protect3 f Rotate image2, 4 g Small picture1, 2 Digital filter effects can be used to apply a variety of effects to images. Effect types include Soft, Selective color, Cross screen, Miniature effect, and Painting. E22 When using a printer to print images saved on the memory card, you can use the Print order function to select which images are printed, and how many copies of each image are printed. E51 Allows you to view images saved in the internal memory or on a memory card in an automatic slide show. E55 Allows you to protect selected images from accidental deletion. E56 After shooting, you can change the orientation in which still images are displayed. E58 Allows you to create a small copy of the current image.
