Shooting in the Scene Mode Features b Portrait Use this mode for portraits in which the main subject stands out clearly. Portrait subjects exhibit smooth, natural-looking skin tones. • The camera detects and focuses on a face looking toward the camera (Shooting with Face-Priority → A 103). • If the camera detects multiple faces, the camera focuses on the face closest to the camera. • If no face is recognized, the camera will focus on the subject in the center focus area. • Digital zoom is not available. m V* n Off* p A o 0.0* * Other settings can be selected. c Landscape Use this mode for vivid landscapes and cityscapes. • Camera focuses at infinity. The focus area or focus indicator always glows green when the shutter-release button is pressed halfway. Scene Mode Settings

compensation value applied in any scene mode are cancelled and these settings return to their
default values whenever another shooting mode is selected or the camera is turned off.
