Replacing

the Transfer Belt

Caution! The fuser unit (at the back of the printer) may

be HOT. Let it cool down before attempting to replace the

transfer belt.

Turn the printer off.

Pull up on the handle and lift the cover.

Lift out the drum/toner cradle.

Press back on the lock lever (

) and lift the end of the

transfer belt unit up by the blue handle (

).

Grasp both handles and lift the transfer belt unit out of the

printer.

Make sure the blue lock levers at either end of the fuser

have snapped back locking the fuser unit in place. If not,

pull them toward the front of the printer.

Unpack the new transfer belt unit.

Caution! Be careful to avoid touching the shiny black

surface of the transfer belt.

Hold the transfer belt by the handles and lower it into the

printer.
