Getting Started/Basic Operations Attaching the Shoulder Strap We recommend attaching the shoulder strap when using the camera to prevent it from dropping. 1 Pass the shoulder strap through the shoulder strap eyelet on the camera body. 2. Getting Started/Basic Operations Charging the Battery You can charge the battery either using the supplied charger, or in the camera body. If you turn on the camera, you can also power it from a power outlet. • The battery is not charged when the camera is shipped.
