[REC MODE] Switch the quality and recording format of the motion picture to record in AVCHD. ≥ Set [REC FORMAT] to [AVCHD]. : [RECORD SETUP] # [REC MODE] # desired setting / / [1080/60p]*1: [HA]/[HG]/[HE]*2: Set the recording mode to 1080/60p. Set the recording mode to 1080/60i. [HA]/[HG]/[HE]*2: Set the recording mode to 1080/60i. *1 This option allows you to record in 1080/60p (1920k1080/60 progressive), which is the highest picture quality for this unit. *2 Recording will have higher quality in the order of [HA], [HG] and [HE]. ≥ Recordable time using the battery (l 14) ≥ This function's default setting is [HG] mode. ≥ Please refer to page 118 about approximate recordable time. ≥ When the unit is moved a lot or moved quickly, or when a fast-moving subject is recorded (Especially when recording in recording format [MP4] or recording mode [HE]), mosaic-type noise may appear at playback. [RELAY REC] It is possible to continuously record motion picture to an SD card when there is no space available in the built-in memory. (It allows you to record only to SD card from built-in memory.) ≥ Set [MEDIA SELECT] to [Built-inMemory]. ≥ Set [REC FORMAT] to [AVCHD]. ≥ Insert an SD card. : [RECORD SETUP] # [RELAY REC] # [ON] ≥ is displayed on the screen. will disappear when space in the built-in memory is gone and the recording to the SD card starts. ≥ Relay Recording can only be performed once. ≥ Combine the scenes that were relay-recorded using the [RELAY SCENE COMBINE] into the SD card. (l 69, 76) ≥ Once you have performed [RELAY SCENE COMBINE], you can use the Relay Recording function again. If the [RELAY REC] is set to [ON] without performing the [RELAY SCENE COMBINE], a message is displayed. You will be able to perform Relay Recording by selecting [YES], but you will not be able to perform the [RELAY SCENE COMBINE] after that. - 49 -
