CONCLUSION

With normal use, none of the wipe disinfectants listed above should

damage a Toughbook H2; however, please be sure to dry the surface

soon after the solution is applied. Otherwise, the PC surface quality

may change. Although these disinfectants are tested for our products,

Panasonic does not endorse or advertise a particular brand of

disinfectant and cannot warrant their effectiveness.

RECOMMENDED “WIPE” FORMS

OF DISINFECTANTS

Panasonic recommends disinfectant wipes to avoid prolonged exposure to chemicals

that can cause oxidation and paint discoloration, and break down the rubber that

seals the tablet. If the wipe form of these disinfectants is used and the surface is

dried soon after application, the computer will be protected for years to come.

APPLICATION AND TEST PROCEDURES

To keep your Toughbook H2 running for as long as you do, Panasonic rigorously

tested the device to see how many times it could be disinfected. The test

procedure was to wipe each area on the device with the liquid solution with

a pressure of 1 kg/cm

2

for 10,000 times.

SANITIZATION REMINDER SYSTEM

Because cleanliness is paramount, the Toughbook H2

comes equipped with a user-controlled sanitization

reminder system to increase the likelihood of cleaning.

The system maintains a record of device cleaning for

infection control management and auditing purposes.

It even helps while cleaning to show if any parts of the

screen have been missed.
