Using compression and bass emphasis You can only use these functions with a multiCD player that supports them. COMP (compression) and DBE (dynamic bass emphasis) functions lets you adjust the sound playback quality of the multi-CD player. 1 Use MULTI-CONTROL to select COMP/DBE in the function menu. # If the multi-CD player does not support COMP/DBE, NO COMP is displayed when you attempt to select it. 2 Turn MULTI-CONTROL to select the desired setting. Using ITS playlists ITS (instant track selection) lets you make a playlist of favorite tracks from the multi-CD player magazine. After you have added your favorite tracks to the playlist, you can turn on ITS play and play just those selections. You can use ITS to enter and play back up to 99 tracks per disc from up to 100 discs. (With multi-CD players sold before the CDX-P1250 and CDX-P650, up to 24 tracks can be stored in the playlist.)
